Mansory Announces Full Details on BMW 7-Series Tune, Available with up to 640HP

In the beginning of March, we told you about the BMW 7-Series tune being prepared by the Swiss arm of Mansory. Today, the company came out with all the juicy details including the available performance modifications for the Bavarian automaker’s flagship saloon.

Mansory treats both the 750i and 760iL with an engine kit that consists of an optimised ECU combined with a sports air filter and a custom exhaust system that includes a set of bespoke rectangular end pipes. With this package, the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine of the 750i delivers 490HP and 720 Nm of peak torque, up from 407HP and 600Nm respectively.

Developed as a special one-off for customer Thomas M. George (um, presumably not former Michigan Senator Thomas M. George), the Zapico Custom features a 160 hp, 2.0L V2 that can propel this monster from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in a quick 3.3 seconds.

Geneva 2011: Mansory's Take on the New Porsche Cayenne Turbo Comes with 690HP
